Static Management

Leading for Effect

The Market Evolved
But Leadership Didn't

The demands on business are accelerating, but many still rely on off-the-shelf leadership models. Pre-packaged advice from books and courses offer generic, one-size-fits all approaches at odds with your company's unique needs. The truth is, prescriptive advice and cookie-cutter approaches fail more often than they help. Without context, "best practices" backfire. They trap you in half-solutions breeding more problems. The problem isn't you—it's copy-paste leadership models that just don't fit.

Don't Let Your Team Face
Strategic Drift

If you've ever said, "Nothing gets done when I'm not around," "There's not enough time in the day," or had your calendar go to shit the minute you start working...you've faced strategic drift.

Reactivity Rules the Day

Your days fill with unplanned chaos and constant firefighting. You're left wondering where the time went and why you feel like you're always behind.

Hyperfocus Creates Blinders

Tunnel vision causes you to lose sight of the changing market.Challenges become distractions rather than learning experiences.

No Options = Desperation

Reactive leadership leaves you scrambling for solutions. You overpay for rescue hires, stick with crappy vendors, and tolerate bad clients.

How Most Leaders Try to Solve the Problem

There's no shortage of snake oil solutions for the strategic drift caused by static management. But these tactics only lead to frustration and limited results:

  • Adopting generic systems, praying they can 'plug-n-play'

  • Making rapid operational changes in an attempt to see what works

  • Following advice from the book of the month, hoping there's a fix

  • Hiring fractional department heads to free up their time

  • Purchasing new software in an attempt to automate or innovate their problem away

Real evolution requires a customized leadership strategy tailored to your company's specific goals, strengths, and challenges. It requires Dynamic Leadership™.

The Brief

Who am I?

I'm an Army veteran and former marketing executive. I work with entrepreneurs to help them gain control of their company's trajectory with my proven approach to leadership.I love helping innovative founders with bringing their new ideas to life. I do this through coaching, leaning on my experience as a leader of organizations both large and small, remote and in-house.

The Origin Story

Why Dynamic Leadership™ Coaching?

My journey to leadership coaching began in the army. As an officer, I saw leaders succeed and fail firsthand. Some excelled, lifting up their teams to accomplish the impossible. Others flailed, breeding toxicity that sunk morale and performance.I knew I wanted to lead like the former. But as I took on more demanding roles, self-doubt crept in. Were all my past successes just luck? Could my results be chalked up to having a great team, or favorable circumstances?Or was I actually a good leader?Expectations loomed. I found myself often needing to live up to rigid ideals of "good leadership" even when they chafed. My intuition battled the prescribed playbook. Then came company command.I was briefed I'd be taking command of the weakest company in the battalion. But when I met the soldiers, their potential was clear. The problem was they lacked alignment. My battalion commander mentored me in a new approach. We focused less on tasks and more on relationships. We built in accountability. I deferred to my men for any decision that didn't require my input.Everything shifted. Our company quickly became one of the strongest in the brigade. We had no extra resources. It was the same team, with the same mission, and the number of hours in the day.One of the key lessons was that I couldn't plug-and-play leadership lessons from a book. The last commander had tried that and it failed because it lacked the context of our specific operating environment.Leading by the book held them back. From there, my purpose emerged. I vowed to help leaders evolve so they can lift up their people and organizations. Now I guide leaders to dynamic approaches tailored to them. Together, we transform restrictive models into strategic leadership that unlocks new possibilities.Because when leaders thrive, their people and businesses do too. That impact fuels my passion for leadership coaching every day.
